Please feel free to provide a short bio about yourself or the work of your organization (no more than 3 paragraphs)
I am moving back to Washington DC after 4 years living, studying and working in Costa Rica. I recently completed a Masters' program in International Peace Studies from the University for Peace while at the same time working as the Summit Manager for the 2009 Summit of the Global Alliance for Ministries and Departments of Peace. Currently, I support the Latin American position on the Interim Leadership Council of the Global Alliance and am the Director of the AmaTierra Foundation, promoting sustainable community development in Costa Rica's poorest rural community of Costa Rica. I have training in non-violent communication and hold a Bachelor's of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service ('07), where I studied International Politics and Latin American Studies.
I am looking forward to being back in Washington and working toward greater peacebuilding, socio-economic justice and capacity building in Latin America.

Dear friend "Vasudev kutukbkam" entire world is a family. This is the teaching of our indian culture and tradition. This is a wonderful site to to know our inner self and each other and can make a world a family. We created countries, boundaries, religions, cast, race for any reason. But this the time to realize that we are one and naturally interconnected with each other which we can just realize by watching inhale and exhale of our breaths. The source is same without any discrimination of religion and boundaries, equally for all living life of universe .When we understand this simple thing then we must understand how our and other's life is equally important, valuable and respectable . We should follow the nature's rule,God has given us a human life not for destruction but to look after the wellbeing of all living life so that peace and harmony can establish in this planet. I shall be happy if we could be a friend with harmonious relationship. shyam
