I did come across a source that may be of interest to you. It specifically deals with the issue of reproduction of violence [in the family] and the need to use broader social information resources (including media) to address the issue. This may be a point of entry as there is certainly a need for developing awareness/sensitivity among journalists and increased media literacy among participants in the project. You can contact them through gutierrezdilorenzo@arnet.com.ar and their web page at http://www.ceim.org.ar/
