My name is Steven Goings, my spiritual name is Quazar. My Purpose in Life is to break down the barriers between belief systems and to support all beings along their personal paths to spirit, wholeness and healing. I achieve my Purpose in Life through encouraging people to reach their full potential through contribution to their communities.
My group The Gathering promotes interfaith dialogue and cross-cultural communication. I am a founding member of the Student Peace Alliance on our CSU Monterey Bay campus and I am a board member of the Monterey Peace and Justice Center.
I have recently joined AmeriCorps and I am now the Co-curricular Service Opportunities Coordinator at CSUMB where my job is to increase reflective volunteerism throughout the school. I am the Service Learning liaison to Student Affairs

I am studying Queer spirituality and how the LGBTQ navigate traditional faith systems
