I'd rather your nomenclature is Steve Frybird! I can see you have a whole lot of projects up and running. That's wonderful! The peace village in Pakistan appears to me a daunting project given the peace scenario in battle-weary Pakistan. Keep the flag of peace aloft and never despair in the face of mounting odds.

Great! There were five pictures I was interested in. Two had two different little girls with peace written on their foreheads; one had two children with peace written on their foreheads; the fourth picture had a girl holding a sign with the words peace written on it with doves, and the fifth had a larger group of children giving the peace sign. Thanks so much for going back and forth with me. I'm really hoping the office at USAID will like one of them for the cover. For sending pictures, it may be easier to correspond via email: jhennessy@amexdc.com. Regards! Jen

I'm hoping to use one on the cover of the materials, so having the highest res available would be best for printing. Thanks so much, and I'll confirm with you after I speak to the USAID office and find out if they'll approve the pictures for use. We've gone back and forth on making picture decisions. I had a pic for the cover, but then couldn't get a high enough resolution version to use it, so I'm trying to be more on top of things this time. Thanks so much!

Thank you. And yes, of course, credit will be given, as will a short caption describing the picture, if used. I wanted to get your permission prior to showing them to the USAID office I've been working with as they have the final approval. Do you have higher resolution versions of the pictures with kids that have "peace" written on their foreheads (I remember seeing 2 or 3), as well as the one with the girl holding the sign with peace and doves? I would like to have a couple of options to show them, if possible. Thanks again! Regards, Jen

My name is Jen Hennessy, and I work for AMEX International (www.amexdc.com), a Washington, DC-base firm which is providing services in the field of international development. Our main client is the US Agency for International Development (USAID). We are currently preparing for them some non-commercial publications. One of the publications is dealing with Peace Processes. I have seen some of your pictures on this site (particularly the peace children pics). I would like to know whether you would allow us to use some of your pictures for the brochure and under what terms.

Thanks in advance!

Regards,
Jen

Steve,
I met you last year through Harvey Paige, down at the museum. I've been training mediators the last two summers in the Dem. Rep. of the Congo, Rwanda, Burundi, and Kenya. Next April, David Bucura who is the coordinator of mediators in that region will be visiting the Dayton area. If you might be interested in having him as a speaker in early April 2009 contact me at 937-293-0375. I live in Kettering.
