We are currently on a countdown to the launch of the new website and there is an incredible amount of work going on at the moment. All the video clips are now in and the director of the video is currently piecing all the footage together to create the finished work. Its no easy feat as they need to cut down 18 minutes of film into a 5 minute clip but they have some great ideas and we are looking forward to seeing the results.
I recently had a meeting with Tim Willmott from the Web Of…

we have been working on changing the name of our project from Leeds Pyramid to the Earth Pyramid for about 6 months now and things are going well. The University of Bradford has taken on the challenge of creating a video that hopes to explain the venture in a way that makes its aims easily understood and the whole process has been a great experience. We are honoured that Archbishop Tutu has kindly agreed to participate and along with the other contributors it should make for a fascinating…

This is a very interesting idea.
I'd say that Egypt is the best place for the peace pyramid - because of its tradition in building pyramids, because of its recent peaceful revolution, and also because Arab people in general deserve a better treatment from the world, especially the Western world. Moreover, The Middle East is the most troubled area in the world. Placing the peace pyramid in Egypt would hopefully help change some mindsets.
A second suggestion is to build - apart from the pyramid you envision - smaller pyramids in every country. One in each country. Same idea, but with a real presence in every country. This could be a tourist attraction and help embed the idea of peace everywhere, faster.
Best wishes!
