The United Network of Young Peacebuilders (UNOY Peacebuilders) is a global network of 49 youth peace organisations and 350 affiliates active in the field of peacebuilding and conflict transformation.
The UNOY network contributes to the work of its members and affiliates in two fundamental ways, namely capacity building and advocacy and campaigning. Within these two fields UNOY engage in a range of additional activities

UNOY Peacebuilders is a global network of youth-led organisations active in the field of peacebuilding and conflict transformation. It is composed of independent organisations working together in an action based campaign and other activities to fulfil its mission. The Network is non-hierarchical; member organisations are not branches or representatives of UNOY Peacebuilders. They preserve their own identity, their goals and strategies to deal with their local and regional challenges.

Given your field of work and expertise in peacebuilding, I would like to bring your attention to the upcoming Asia Pacific Mediation Forum (APMF) not-for-profit event; "The Asia Pacific Mediation Leadership Summit - From Talk To Action", taking place in Bangkok 2 - 4 December 2011, which brings together mediation and ADR specialists from various fields; including family mediation, commercial and workplace mediation, court-annexed mediation, conflict and community mediation, climate change and disaster response mediation and various cross-sectional themes, like for example human rights, cross-cultural dynamics and women in mediation.
