Profile Information

Please feel free to provide a short bio about yourself or the work of your organization (no more than 3 paragraphs)
I have worked as an independent software consultant for industrial clients (Eurocopter, Gemalto, DCNS) and software product companies (Calendra, Neotys) and tought in several engineering schools. During my 20 years of experience, I have occupied positions building both strong technical and management skills in an international context.

I am now striving to change my orientation, not only to bring my experience and knowledge to new domains but also to acquire skills in areas quite remote to software. Having lived my whole childhood and part of my teenage years in South Africa, I am particularly committed to working in Africa on subjects related to development, human rights and transitional justice. I started my reorientation by studying on a sustainable development program in 2005 during which I went to Niger in Agadez to install and develop an autonomous and local organization that shared Internet bandwidth between schools, administrations and private actors.

Then, and during the last three years, in parallel of my consulting activities, I completed a continuing education curriculum to obtain a Master of Political Science at the IEP in Aix-en-Provence. I did my master thesis on the subject of the South-Africain transition and TRC. I am now attending a Master Pro in International Affairs in the same institute. In February 2013, I will be doing à six-month internship in Geneva with the Chilean human rights delegation at the UN Human Rights Council.
