Greetings and Salaam, Professor: Thank you for taking time from your very busy life and schedule to bother to read my "inaugural" Blog.
We have a lot in common, in both our academic and professional backgrounds. Most of my academic work was done through my beloved Alma Mater, UCLA: The love affair for which I hold dating back to my childhood days; growing up in Westwood, and spending many hours in their Natural Science/Biology Labs. [This was when UCLA was still 3 buildings in the middle of a forest! (Which is a dead give-away as to my "maturity").]
But as my bio indicates, I also spent many years in Asia/the Pacific Rim and Islands, Africa, and ALL of North/North Central Americas.
And after having lived, worked traveled, even studied in 80 Countries on 5 Continents, happy to say I'm still at it: I'll be visiting more than a dozen countries I haven't previously been to, in the first half of this year; specifically including your Homeland, your close neighbor, Afghanistan, and likely at least several of the other neighboring "-stan" nations of that region.
In addition, I have over 20 nations in West, Central & East Africa to visit, set up Distributors & related Health Education delivery programs; then get started in providing these populations with truly pure water they can ALL (incl. the infants & children, or most "in need/at risk" populations) drink!* (Note: *I.e., & without "holding their noses"; or, as my village in Uganda calls it: "The water that doesn't taste like medicine".)

I hope we can stay in contact, and there will be a possibility of visiting in person when I come to Pakistan this year. Sincerely, J. Seamus ("Jim") Boylson
