Profile Information

What motivated you (or your organization) to become involved in peace and conflict resolution?
My first and second hand experience being a minority and with minority groups in education and youth development has led me to pursue ways for improving relations and advance multiculturalism through institutions and organizations that serve youth.
Please feel free to provide a short bio about yourself or the work of your organization (no more than 3 paragraphs)
I was born and grew up in Skagit Valley, WA. Went to the University of Washington for Cello Performance at first, then switched to International Studies and minored in Russian, you know, the natural progression. After graduating I joined the Peace Corps and served in the Republic of Georgia for a year until the war, and then transfered to China to finish. I'm now a graduate student at Georgetown University pursuing an MA in Conflict Resolution.
