What motivated you (or your organization) to become involved in peace and conflict resolution?
I think everyone wants peace and solutions to conflict - which is never ending - so how can an individual contribute in his/her own capacity no matter how you do - this is important for me and I need to pursue my goal through the offering of my capabilities and capacity.
Please feel free to provide a short bio about yourself or the work of your organization (no more than 3 paragraphs)
I come from an indegenous ethnic background, but having had the opportunity to study and suppot from families have made this far. But there is so much for me to learn and to teach.

I have completed my masters in Business Administration from Kathmandu University in Nepal, am married with two grown up daughthers.

For me learning is a continuous process and I feel I have so much to learn (I guess in part is due to my family obligations that I missed out studies in my younger days).

I have a positive way of looking at things and belive that if you are true, sincere and hard working - then you can surely make a difference in what you are trying to do.

No, so far I have not had this opportunity - but if there are avenues that comes my way I don't see why I can do something for someone

I am currently employed in Office of the High Commissioner - Nepal country office and am involved in capacity building initiatives

As part of my Executive Masters in Business Administration, I did do a project work on "Performance Management of an INGO working in Nepal", analyzing the different scenarion, assessing the needs of the organization in terms of its performance policy (the INGO was in transition phase) and providing recommendations.
