Profile Information

What motivated you (or your organization) to become involved in peace and conflict resolution?
I realized what a useful tool conflict resolution was while living a working abroad. I also saw what a difference having alternatives to violence made in communities.
Please feel free to provide a short bio about yourself or the work of your organization (no more than 3 paragraphs)
I graduated from the University of Colorado at
Boulder in 2004 with a degree in musical theater. Then Iserved as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ukraine. My assignment was to work with at risk youth in rural villages. I used theater and other arts to help my students learn about and discuss difficult topics like AIDS and corruption. I am now pursuing a masters in Conflict Resolution at Georgetown with an emphasis on how that arts can help in conflict resolution and reconciliation.
