I am a graduate of Swarthmore College, with a double major in Peace Studies and Sociology/Anthropology.

Program Assistant at the Quaker United Nations Office in New York City
What are some of your current areas of research (if any)?
My current area of study is following the Palestine statehood bid at the United Nations this fall. Additional country areas of focus and study include Somalia, Liberia, and Myanmar/Burma.

I have studied the potential for theater to act as a forum for changing perceptions of the "other," with a focus on post-conflict Northern Ireland. I conducted field research there in the summer of 2010 to this end (primarily interviews, participant observation and ethnography).
