بادرتني هذه المقولة للسيناتور الأمريكي هيرام ورين (1918) أثناء قرائتي لما أوردته صفحات موقع ويكيبيديا عن “الحرب الأهلية الليبية 2011″.
مقارنة سريعة في ذهني مع صفحات مشابهة على الموقع للثورات العربية الأخرى، جعلتني أفكر في ماذا سيتعلم أطفال وشباب المستقبل في كتب التاريخ عن أحداثنا المعاصرة.. وبأي نهج ستدرس لهم هذه الأحداث؟
