Profile Information

What motivated you (or your organization) to become involved in peace and conflict resolution?
I am committed to not only the idea but the reality of an Africa that is able to transcend famine, war, disease, dictators, incompetent and corrupt "leaders" and every other plague to become what all those who fought for her independence dreamed she could be. I don't expect it to happen in my lifetime but I hope to contribute to the process.

Hello Sahro,
thank you very much for your friendship request.
I would love to learn more about life for women in Somalia.
I've recently returned from spending 3 weeks in Uganda with friends there - and visiting women's groups.
This has inspired a great interest in Africa in general for me.

It is great to hear and Ramadan Karim to you too. I am well and I am in E Africa. I am in between Tanzania and Rwanda where I am in the middle of resaerch project on post-conflict justice: traditional v. tribunal. I hope it becomes useful to our sad state of affairs. Where are you now? perhaps we should arrange meeting somewhere in the near future.

Yeah i missed that opportunity too. It is not the first time i go there for me although it has been long time since i was there. I'm going for work and will be there for only 5 days. I'm sure it will be interesting.
