Please feel free to provide a short bio about yourself or the work of your organization (no more than 3 paragraphs)
I am a senior Indian print and online journalist who also holds a doctorate in African Studies. In my two decade-long career, I have written and researched on practically every subject, including politics, scientific and medical research, human rights, gender issues, child rights, and business.
This gives me a wider perspective than most people in the field, and helps me look at every issue holistically from every aspect possible. Quite naturally, I look at peace and conflict resolution as an imperative to counter the massive problems of poverty, malnutrition and deprivation that the third world is currently grappling with, given the massive changes climate change is bringing upon the planet.
Please list the countries and/or regions in which you (or your organization) have direct and significant expertise
North and sub-saharan Africa, India and South Asia, and parts of Southeast Asia, particularly Thailand.
What is your current country of residence (or location of your organization)?
What is your current job (and organization) and/or where and what field are you studying?

I hope to open a line of communication with you. It seems we share some common interests so I wanted to make my introduction. I'm Chris from New Orleans. I'm studying Comparative legal systems at Tulane Law School and am very interested in Human Rights and ADR, Mediation & Negotiation. Given our common interests this might be a good to start to communication so we can refer to each other in the future. Please take a minute to view my page and leave a message if you like.
P.S. I am currently working on a legal paper about the responsibility of the UN to third parties harmed in the Rwandan Genocide. If you have any insight or can suggest any research materials it would be greatly appreciated. I am currently knee deep in Moeshe Hirche's book on the subject.
