What motivated you (or your organization) to become involved in peace and conflict resolution?

there are still many problem to support in my country, Aceh, Indonesia after conflict between GAM (free Aceh Movement) and Indonesian Government. To implementing all of the point that mention in MoU has signed both of them last august, 2005.

I am Raihal. 28 years old. Since 2007 work for Katahati Institute, one of CSO in Aceh that concern to democracy issues as project officer until now.

Katahati Institute is non profit organization, non partisan and commitment to join as a society group which want to create the civil society in Aceh and Indonesia commonly. Especially, Katahati Institute works in the democracy issues, the government system, the policy which participative and the strengthen of civil rights. Katahati Institute not only realize that the reaching of this aim need a society condition which synergy each other but also realize that it is a small part form that condition. The ability to fix and make the changing of this are continuity attempts with the aspect of sociology, local people, equality, and the other people that care about it.
