Profile Information

What motivated you (or your organization) to become involved in peace and conflict resolution?
I have become a passionate of mediation at 15 years old, even before I knew about the actual concept of it. I have often, in my family, social and professional life, taken on the role of an intermediary between polarized people. I want to change the world, not by telling people what to do, but by helping them communicate more effectively. I am passionate about conflict because I consider it to be essential for the understanding of human nature. And I am a passionate of conflict resolution because I consider it to be the ideal of what human nature can achieve.
Please feel free to provide a short bio about yourself or the work of your organization (no more than 3 paragraphs)
I became actively involved in the field in 2002 when I had my first mediation and peace building training, in preparation for a mission in Guatemala where I was involved in non violent observation mission and accompaniment of threatened civil society actors. I have studied 7 years of Law, Political Science, International Relations and Conflict Resolution. But I always sought to ground my theoretical knowledge into concrete experience and action. I have became a mediator in 2004 and a dialogue facilitator in 2005. I have never ceased to practice those two major fields since then.
Since May 2006, I work in Meta-Culture, Bangalore, India as a conflict management consultant, mediator, facilitator and trainer.
