- Am a male kenya and aged 29 year. Have being involved in community development for the last 5 years specializing in youth programms.
currently am associatiing with a coastal faith based organization called , coast interfaith council of clerics in the youth deparment. the overal role of the departmet is to come up with programms that are aimed on resolving the conflicts that is so rampant inthe coast and perpetrated by the youths.

- Thankyou Richard for contacting me for suggestion. I appreciate your effort to develop an interfaith youth community in Kenya to build peace and reduce conflicts. Creating an open and safe space for the youth to express their aspirations, experience, concern and ideas to build fellowship and warm bond is a first step to sustain the group for the long haul. You may learn and practice in your group tools like mindfulness, NVC (google non-violent communication), co-counseling, and many skills for conflict resolution (search online) including indigenous ones. While the youth work around circles, adults with grudges and greivances may be invited just to watch the process. Hope it helps. All the best.
