Drear Friends,

Good Day!

I joined in Exchanges Connect Annual Video Contest this year about CLIMATE CHAnGE. The prize for the said contest will be joining in International Exchanges Program for 2 weeks. The winner will be chosen based on vote and rate made by the people who will watch the video.

Last night, I submitted my video for the said contest entitled "Let's raise our Hands and Participate in Saving the Life of Mother Earth. I am knocking in your good heart to please support me by voting and rating my video. I really want to join the International exchange program because participating in the said program will definitely not just experience but also enhance my knowledge about the U.S Culture.

Here are the instruction for voting and rating my video:

Videos are rated based on 4 categories: Originality, Creativity, Effectiveness, and Production Quality. Underneath each category, you will see a row of 5 stars. The highest rating you can give a video in a particular category is 5 stars. 1 star is the lowest rating. By rating it, you already voted for my video. In order to have a valid rate and vote , click the word "rate" after rating my video.

please click the link in order to vote and rate my video.

Thanks for being my freind. Well there are a number of peace building projects going on in Afghanistan, with relatively good achievments. In order to integrate and coordinate peacebuilding initiatives in Afghanistan, we are now in the process of forming Afghanistan Peace Building Practitioners Netwok. but we really Need International support to do so. the frist thing we are planning to do after establsihment of the Afghanistan Peace Network, is looking for funding to sustain this network and perhaps, organize a study tour to Northern Irland for exposure of conflict resolution and peacebuilding efforts there.

Thanks for your comment about the corruption in DRC. It's so difficult to curb because it's a system with many layers. But this system is made up of people, and thus it takes another system of people - including ordinary citizens - from all parts of society to curb it. Through this research, I plan to document the challenges, strategies, tactics, and general lessons learned from past and present campaigns and movements. Not only can we learn from them, we can get inspiration from their ingenuity, courage and resilience. Best, Shaazka

MUM is the only one I am familiar with as it is where I got my masters degree. I know they have good programs for foreign students. Do you already have a BA? If not, have you tried www.collegeboard.com to do a search for colleges. I do not have experience with foreign students using this site so it may or may not work for you. Let me know how it goes.

I don't know what kind of scholarships Maharishi University of Management has but I know it attracts many foreign students. They also have intern/work study programs. They are dedicated to world peace by adding group meditation to the environment to settle down the conflicts. There are around 1700 doing group meditation twice a day at their facility in Southeast Iowa, United States. Good luck! Your expertise is so needed. www.mum.edu
