Profile Information

What motivated you (or your organization) to become involved in peace and conflict resolution?
I have desired to play a role in peace and conflict resolution since high school, when I became acutely aware of religious and racial disparities in the world. The instant impetus for joining/rejoining the network is impelled by Karen Armstrong's Charter of Compassion initiative and Ft. Hood's recent dispiriting disaster.
Please feel free to provide a short bio about yourself or the work of your organization (no more than 3 paragraphs)
I'm a native New Yorker--from whence comes my ability as a multicultural synthesizer who is empathetic cross-culturally. Besides being a Harvard-trained legal professional, I was immersed in the culture of an international organization for more than 10 years and thus am accustomed to working across cultures. Finally, I am passionate about the recognition of human dignity and human rights, especially the right to education and information access.
Please list the countries and/or regions in which you (or your organization) have direct and significant expertise
the Islamic world
What is your current country of residence (or location of your organization)?

First ever UK Parliament debate on conflict prevention. Watch the recording ... it will be a well-spent 1 hour and 30 minutes. Congratulations to the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Conflict Issues in UK. http://www.parliamentlive.tv/Main/Player.…
