"Hello Ruairi, I am not available for this assignment but might know others who are. Can you forward me a SOW via email at email@example.com. What organization are you working for? I spent about two years in Southern Sudan working with PACT, ARD,…"
Please feel free to provide a short bio about yourself or the work of your organization (no more than 3 paragraphs)
My career began in the field of psychology and experiential education. While living in Jerusalem the second intifada errupted. I decided to start an Outward Bound Program for Palestinian and Israeli youth. After several years the vision became a reality and has developed into an Outward Bound School in Israel for Jewish and Arab Israelis. After getting this program running I attended the MA program in Intercommunal Coexistence and Conflict at Brandeis University. For my MA field project (thesis) I traveled to SE Asia to compare the impact of the tsunami and tsunami interventions on the conflicts in Sri Lanka and Indonesia/Aceh.
Upon completion of my MA I have been working as an independent consultant for multiple organizations mostly in Nepal and Sudan including: The Collaborative for Development Action Inc., Save the Children, Search for Common Ground, International Development Enterprises, and the World Conference of Religions for Peace.
I am currently working with the US Dept of Agriculture and the Government of Southern Sudan (GOSS) Land Commission to help facilitate the development of the GOSS Policy and Law related to land and natural resources.
