Please feel free to provide a short bio about yourself or the work of your organization (no more than 3 paragraphs)
Since 2002 to till 2008 I worked on politically sensitive issues related to Sri Lanka’s ongoing ethno-political conflict. I worked closely with a wide range of stake holders like political parties, representatives of the civil society, human rights activist, journalists, intellectuals and grass root level peace activist across the Island. My present work area covers different aspects of peace building activities. As a journalist, as an election observer and as a student I contribute in all possible forms towards a positive turning point in Sri Lanka. On top of it, something I really value and something that makes me feel content is that I deal with many state & non-state actors, grass root workers, collate different information, analyze and gather them and report to the International Community. I think this is essential, so that the diplomats and other relevant actors understand the ground situation.
