Right now, in the Gaza Strip, we are witnessing a… Continue

Dear Neri
we all human being has fundamental right to leave and let leave other too, israel and philistine problem, conflicts is disturbing entire world,it is threat to peace loving peaple,it is not very serious problem ,by my veiw, instead of fighting for there rights if both side prepare to secrifice for each side,we should prepare for this by both side then definatily there will a good results.and there should be always non violance,if any one lost he is our brother.

Dear Neri,
Thank you for the inviation. As a political science student especially focused on conflict resolution and peace building for me the forum is more than welcome. The topic I am wroking now on is the frozen conflicts in Northern Cyprus, Transnistria and Ossetia.
Good luck with your research as well,
Iana

Thank you for your invitation, Neri.

I was once Queensland State Secretary of Mensa, and following that was elected Fellow of the ISPE with an IQ exceeding the 99.9997 %ile.

I say that to let you know I have been all the way down those paths of system analysis and development, and have since turned away from them for the essentially simplex.

One of the human realities not yet fully appreciated is that we wire ourselves up as we go. A new-born baby has only a rudimentary central nervous system, and hardly any wiring in the brain at all.

How we come to be is not shaped by some complex evolutionary process, but simple day-to-day interactive learning with our environment.

In short, what we expose our children to is what they will become.

The solution to endemic conflict is simple: Take people's mind off it, and onto something better.

Governments, and the press in particular might help a lot there, but they choose for whatever reason not to.

My son was always in strife at school; he has my temper, and nothing worked with him until one day I sat down with him and explained that it was his worrying about getting into strife that was getting him into strife.

After some discussion I finally managed to explain to him that if you want friends instead, be friendly; if you want to be loved, be loving.

That was it. His life changed completely around.

Of course I ended up in a long argument with the schools over the ideas they put in children's heads, but there you go.

Suffice for the moment that we think there are problems, so there are problems.

The solution is simple. Stop thinking there are problems.

Be cool. Be happy, be friendly, be loving, and that is what you will attract to yourself. Over time, that is they way the world will be.

Gil
