- Having worked in Humanitarian Affairs/Civil Affairs Clerk for 1 year and 4 years as Interpreter/Language assistant attached to Military Observers in the field (Kanyabayonga, Masisi), I have acquired experience in the field of humanitarian issues and I am enjoying the challenges of working with the UN environment, reason why I am keen to continue especially in protection of civilians and Child protection particularly, kind of work in the post that is offered. I have been working as a focal point and liaising with UN agencies, OCHA, WFP, UNDP, UNICEF and International and local NGOs to support humanitarian assistance. In that role, I succeeded in organizing meetings, seminar, and conference with UN agencies and therefore discussed relevant humanitarian issues. I have further Participated in various activities related to separation of child soldiers from armed groups during integration and brassage processes (Masissi) and during negotiations with armed groups operating in the area of responsibility of MILOB Teams (Kanyabayonga, Masisi). I have participated to various seminars, Training related to early recovery, Protection of Civilians. I have also initiated and facilitated joint assessment mission with UN agencies, International Non Governmental Organizations, government authorities and MONUSCO to assess not only protection of civilians but also identification, separation of children affiliated to armed groups and report to specialized services. From these initiatives, MONUSCO and other organizations have responded quickly to humanitarian needs of vulnerable population in the framework of the integrated mission concept. With my experience on protection of civilians through Joint Protection Team, I was called upon to bring Administrative support to the training of MONUSCO staff on how to conduct Joint Protection Team mission where I participated to Protection related stategies with other personnel who were recruited to participate to Joint Protection Team Mission in Orientale Province (DRC). As Humanitarian/Civil Affairs Office is the liaising office between Humanitarians, UN agencies; I work closely with MONUSCO blue helmets to help support the need of Humanitarians, UN agencies though escorts planning facilitate meetings with North Kivu brigade, local authorities and Civil Society. This has to bring organizations, MONUSCO and local authorities to put effort together in achieving humanitarian aid in the province. As language Assistant I was sharing Security humanitarian information with local authorities and MONUSCO in a good coordination which was helping UN, DRC security Components and Humanitarians to respond to security, humanitarian needs and therefore advocate for humanitarian assistance.
I have been working as an administration assistant; I am a focal point in the humanitarian section which enables me to be part of the organization team which organized workshops in Entebbe (Uganda), and Goma with the collaboration of OCHA, UNDP and other UN Agencies.
DRC and particularly the North Kivu province has been the hot spot of conflict since the 1990s. Having worked in the province since 2005, (I am a native of the province) the province has passed through political and social turmoil, with various armed national and foreign armed groups. North Kivu province has ever been classified as read province which leads staff to work under pressure. I have participated critical mission in deployment of MILOBs at Kanyabonga as a buffer zone between two rebellion movements RCD Goma and RCD KML). I succeeded facilitate withdrawal of child affiliated to armed group through DDRRR programs, and handing them to CARITAS demobilization and reinsertion center in Kanyabayobga, I was negotiating their release with MILOBs from their commanders, explaining them the international Law and regulations related protection of children in war context. I have worked closely with various military leaders, former rebel commanders.
I am educated in medical nursing sciences with a graduate diploma from Institut Superieur des Techniques Medicales de Goma (Goma University), I have also participated to various trainings (English language, protection of Civilians, HIV peer educator and undertook courses on line (UNITAR). I have an experience with computers and software packages, especially the Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes. I am a good team player, have a strong client orientation skills.

we created countries, boundaries,religions,cast,race for a genuine reason or a false reasons for any reason.but this the time to realize that we are one and we naturally interconnected with each other ,which we can just realize by watching inhale and exhale of breaths the source is same ,without any discrimination,religion, boundaries, equally for all living life of universe .When we understand this simple thing then we must understand how our and other's life is equally important, valuable ,respectable .we should follow the nature's rule ,non violence .peace ,god has given us a human life not for destruction but for look after the wellbeing of all living life.
