Thanks for the input and would appreciate if you could let others know about the network. I don't have any current plans to be in India in the near future...

Dearest Beena,
It is my honour to accept your friendship request. I took the time to look at your organization's website and am grateful for the work you do. I believe my work here is of a similar nature; although our challenges and barriers are very different, I understand the importance of the work.

I am honored to work in a multicultural community here in Victoria and my organization has developed strong relationships with our local intercultural associations. Recently we have facilitated interfaith dialogue processes and are hoping to receive continued funding in order to include more faith groups and strengthen bonds between local cultural communities.

I have found that the majority of the people we assist are women, is the situation similar in your area? This reality has slowly pulled me away from environmental mangagement toward a career in violence against women and I am currently researching graduate programs in the field.

I hope in some way, despite the distance between us, that I can be of assitance by information sharing and holding you in my prayers.

With many blessings,

Thank you for your reply. Yes, we all need to be in touch and supporting one another in every way we can. You never know how or when these connections are going to come to fruition to help relieve suffering! Thank you for your work and please stay in touch.
