Profile Information

Please feel free to provide a short bio about yourself or the work of your organization (no more than 3 paragraphs)
For over four years of experience in international development management and gender empowerment, Melanie Lindayen been active across the sectors she believes bridge the gap between the way the world is and the way the world should be. Her background in project cycle management and communications has propelled her through a track record of meaningful work developing and facilitating programs for health, education, and crisis relief in the Americas, Africa, Asia and Middle East. As a thoughtful idealist connected with the realities of development work in the field, Melanie is as conscious of the larger picture of sustainable development, as the small details that bring wild proposals to fruition. Her work experience in three languages, information management training in the Canadian public service, and artist’s approach to communications and design are testament to an appetite for learning and innovation. Melanie's experience working across borders, cultures, languages, gender, ages and faith helps her fit as well in a Toronto office, as leading field work in refugee camps in Kenya.
