Profile Information

What motivated you (or your organization) to become involved in peace and conflict resolution?
I am from the Philippines, specifically Mindanao. I am not residing in the very place where war takes place every now and then. I have all the choice to sleep tight like nothing is happening around me. But every day of my life, I am searching. I am longing. I am dying to find a way to help. The children is my biggest concern. I wanted to be a part in promoting peace in the midst of war and conflicts which I believe derived from the true enemy of every individual involved which is POVERTY. I wanted to be part of the solution of this long time problem which is seemingly unending. If I can only help... I could have saved an innocent child who dies in war, in disease... because of poverty....
Please feel free to provide a short bio about yourself or the work of your organization (no more than 3 paragraphs)
I am a government employee. I am connected in the local government in our municipality working as one of the staff of a municipal mayor. Our office is very much exposed on all daily concerns of the people. Thats why, everyday of my life the fever to help is burning. I was ones a municipal Councilor in our municipality representing the youth, women and children. And even my term has already ended, the fire to protect and help them is alive. I am a Psychology graduate and finishing my masters in public administration. I am an advocate of peace, human rights and family values.

I believe that "Life is no more than just living... it must be shared". I am a mother and a wife. My mission is to inculcate to the mind of my only daughter Julianna Danielle (3 years old) the importance of living a life for others. Me & my husband both find donating blood a noble thing. We both hope that by donating our blood we could save life.
