Please feel free to provide a short bio about yourself or the work of your organization (no more than 3 paragraphs)
I graduated in Business Administration and Management (ESADE, Barcelona, Spain), and I have a Master in Development and International Cooperation (HEGOA-UPV, Bilbao, Spain). I also obtained an online postgraduate on digital journalism (UOC).
I've been working for the last 10 years in the field of international cooperation for development, 8 of which as expatriate staff in several regions: Latin America (Colombia, El Salvador, Nicaragua), Middle East (Palestine, Israel, Iraq) and Sub-Saharan Africa (Democratic Republic of Congo, Central African Republic).
I worked as a project manager for 7 years, and during the last 3 years I have been working as a freelance consultant for international development cooperation, mainly conducting project evaluations and writing proposals for NGOs. My fields of specialization are local and communitarian development, civil society capacity-building, communication for peace and development, and peace-building. I also have an extensive experience working in urban development related projects, mainly in Colombia (Cali), Nicaragua (Managua), El Salvador (San Salvador) and Palestine (East Jerusalem).
