EDUCATION FOR THE CULTURE OF PEACE AND NONVIOLENCE

Human rights as all violence suffered by men to believe is subject to light our radio, our TV for ourselves the violence. Ago as two years, Europe has opened a child a gun in full recreation.

In the Democratic Republic of Congo the example of Daniel BOTETI vice president of the provincial assembly, in our neighborhoods, we live by violence of any kind, slightly serious as rape, abuse, murder, rudeness, etc.
My experience as an actor in the Culture of Peace and Non-Violence.
Violence are deeply rooted in people's consciousness and strongly permeates culture (violence, mild insults, rudeness; serious violence: rape, murder, terrorism, tec) violence has permeated the culture, such Muana babetiyo; yope beta.RDCongo In Japan, for example the effects of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
The preventive action is to create through education, science and Culture.ca that we instil in young people remains, try our cadets with the first primary.

Substtuer achieve a culture of peace for a culture of violence as an imagination.
We tried to give chance to everyone in RSA to examine violence continues despite assuming that the degree of violence is higher since the illiteracy rate is higher.

Everywhere, it is well known that the rejection of others, fear, even hatred of difference are often the center of the violence, itself fueled by common ignorance.

Only peaceful dialogue can enable a healthy and balanced awareness. That is why education is central to the construction of Peace.
The ability to support non-violence include: how to recognize and accept differences, build relationships and not oppressive to others, resolve conflicts in a non-violente.
Nb: Consider differences such as values and not as a brake.

Peaceful conflict resolution

Medard du Rocher is one of the defenders of human rights the most active in Kinshasa in the DRC. Thanks to his courage and dynamism, several activists have been trained for 7 years with expected results.

This will give me joy that I learn that he be retained in various tests where he could engage in competition with other candidates like him.

Having had Travill with him on the field of human rights, I bet that its contribution will be an essential contribution to the culture of peace and nonviolence.

Dear Bope - your experience is impressive, I hope you can help. I am writing a case study on UN funded work in DRC. I wonder if you are able to provide your thoughts and experience on how useful UN assistance in DRC has been? I am just looking for a couple of brief personal quotes to use - I want to hear it from people with direct personal experience, not from UN factsheets!
Thanks in advance
Caroline

Dear Medard Du Rocher: What you have written in very interesting. It appears to go to the concepts of micro-finance and empowering women. These ideas are very important and have been supported by the World Bank, where I used to work. Grants are available from the World Bank or you can find a partner in one of the units that are working in DRC. I suggest that you write to the following units:

Conflict Prevention & Reconstruction
Email: cpr@worldbank.org

Community-Driven Development
Email: cdd@worldbank.org

Indigenous Peoples
Email: nrai@worldbank.org

Social Policy
Email: socialpolicy@worldbank.org

You may also want to search the following websites: WorldBank.org and IFC.org.

Best wishes,
Deborah
