Please feel free to provide a short bio about yourself or the work of your organization (no more than 3 paragraphs): The Center for Justice & Peacebuilding includes the Graduate Program in Conflict Transformation, which offers concentrations in strategic peacebuilding, restorative justice, trauma healing, development, and organizational leadership; the Practice & Training Institute, which houses the Summer Peacebuilding Institute and Seminars for Trauma Awareness and Resilience; and the 3D Security Initiative, which promotes civil society perspectives on conflict prevention and peacebuilding in U.S. policymaking, and advocates for diplomacy and development as security strategies.

The program is committed to supporting conflict prevention efforts at all levels of society in situations of complex, protracted, violent or potentially violent, social conflict in the United States and abroad. CJP believes that conflict prevention and peacebuilding must address root causes of conflict, must be developed strategically, and must promote healing of relationships and restoration of the torn fabric of communities.
