20 Years of Palestinian-Jewish Living Room Dialogue (1992-2012)

This 2012 48-minute, grassroots film archives the 20-year history of the Jewish-Palestinian Living Room Dialogue on the San Francisco Peninsula of northern California, USA. It documents rich historic roots in the 1980s, step-by-step group beginnings from 1992, dramatic progress, and global influence into the 21st Century by a local handful of creative, visionary Muslim, Christian, and Jewish women, men, and youth. It illustrates the importance of vision and dedication over time.  The film…See More

I am Prof. Sungho Kang living in Seoul, Korea.  I am involved in NGO programs.  I was very impressed by your video "20 Years of Palestinian.." and your activities. My organization is promoting historical reconciliation and peace building among East Asian countries. This year, we are going to hold "The 5th International NGO Conference on History and Peace" in Seoul, Korea. Your experience will be very good example for historical reconciliation. I would like to seek for more advice and information from your organization in this regard.

We from the mano river basin of Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea have said good bye to war and looking forward to initiatives like the Dialogue in Nigeria to be replicated in our region. Nigeria as the big brother in the sub region always like to play its fatherly role from the days of colonial rule when Lord Lugard introduced the indirect rule in Northern Nigeria successfully, while the east attempted resisting the rule of the white man as exemplified in Chinua Achebe's foremost and powerful "Things fall Apart', up to present, we in this basin have always looked up to Nigeria as children wait patiently for their father to return home from work. We stand by and wait for your next instruction as we try to internalize what relevance this initiative has on our future generations!

Hello Libby & Len

Please take a look at this report and blog

The State of Israel is in Bed with the Military Industrial Complex

If you want to know why we are not heading down the road to peace. Just read this Congressional Research Service report U.S. Foreign Aid to Israel of September 16, 2010

http://www.fas.org/sgp/crs/mideast/RL33222.pdf

The United States government has pledged over three billion dollars a year in military aid to the State of Israel until the year 2018. This is on top of, well over a hundred billion dollars of United States aid to the State of Israel over the years. With two-thirds of it being military aid. It works out to over five-hundred dollars per every Israeli annually...   Global Crier
