- I have 10 years of relevant professional experience. I have held several and varied positions in different areas. In the private sector, I worked as a junior associate of the Corporate Law Department at the largest law firm in Central America, Bufete Arias & Munoz .In the public sector she served as head of the legal department of Comision Ejecutiva Hidroelectrica del Rio Lempa, CEL, and previously as an in-house lawyer for this same government-owned electric company, the largest player of the energy sector in El Salvador. In my post, she was part of the team in charge of the privatization and restructuration processes of the Salvadoran energy sector and Corporate Responsability. In the NGO sector and the academic field, I have worked as senior analyst of the Legal Studies Department of FUSADES, the largest Salvadoran think center on economic, social and legal issues. I was particularly involved in research of issues relating to the rule of law, legal reform, transparency and trade capacity building . I have also served as a teacher for undergraduate law students at UCA, in civil law courses and graduation seminars. On my private professional activity, I had regularly served as pro bono legal advisor in various legal issues for several parties.
