Profile Information

Please feel free to provide a short bio about yourself or the work of your organization (no more than 3 paragraphs)
I hold an MA in Political and Moral Philosophy from the Sorbonne University of Paris, and one in International Relations from Sciences Po Paris and the London School of Economics. I am in my last year of PhD in Political Theory at the Sorbonne, working on transitional justice and its link with the liberal theory of peacebuilding and democracy. I am currently a research fellow at the Sorbonne University, and work as a lecture in the Political Theory Department and teach a class on transitional justice at Sciences Po Paris.
I would like to work in a research center such as the International Center for Transitional Justice.

Working on democratic transition, I have specialized in post-communist countries, especially Russia and the question of collective memory after totalitarianism.
Due to an internship in Cape Town and to specific interests regarding Truth and Reconciliation Commissions, I have also studied the South African case a lot. I worked one year as research assistant to Kumi Naidoo, now head of Greenpeace World, on civil society in post conflict situations.

I am currently working on my PhD dissertation, assessing the role of transitional Justice within the wider debate of post-Rawlsian theories of justice, especially the liberal peace paradigm.

New article on Transitional Justice

A new scholarly review on transitional justice has been published on the Online Encyclopaedia of Mass Violence, a France-based research project hosted by the Center for International Research and Study (CERI-Sciences Po). The article is meant for scholars, students and practitioners, as an introduction to the discipline and its most recent developments.
There is an updated bibliography, as well as a more critical analysis on the limitations of transitional justice.
