In starting any venture, the first step is the hardest. The idea to start a magazine line with focus on promoting peace has been on my mind since early last year. Nigeria’s present socio-political context cannot be interpreted in isolation of the country’s historical saga. The journey has been a long one starting from a scattered collection of ethnic groups sprawling from the coast of the Atlantic, over the Niger-Benue confluence and far flung towards the southern fringe of the Sahara to a people with a common national identity paying allegiance to the same flag, and reciting the same national anthem and pledge.
