Thanks for responding. It sounds like you are doing very important work in Kenya, and quite similar to my own. I would love to read an article you have written about peacebuilding issues in Kenya, if you could send. Where do you publish your articles? What books have you written? I co-wrote a practical guidebook of peacebuilding tools for educators, parents, and professionals, but we self-published it. I am a writer as well and always looking for new topics to cover in this field.
I participated in the UN Decade for Women conference in Nairobi, and have travelled around Kenya, climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro and travelling to Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania many years ago.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Weichel,

Thanks for the message. I do capacity building for District Peace Committees in conflict resolution skills, mediation and reconciliation. I train police, social workers, teachers and administrators in peace building and conflict transformation. I also write and edit books and articles on peace building issues in Kenya. I don't know about toto but there is a successful children organization called Shangilia Mtoto Wa Africa based in Nairobi. I went to school in San Diego and I traveled in California upto San Francisco. Keep in touch
