Warmest regards from Peru I am very happy to share with you in this network. Let me share that the Peace Ambassadors programme that have designed for young students is now taken by a few municipalities in Peru.

Last year have a very significant participation in the World Forum on Education in Palestine and also join the international play festival in Ramahla Palestine. It was such a remarkable peace pilgramage .

Martha

Dear Dr. Kazuyo Yamane,
My name is Ayelet Zohar, and I am a researcher specialising in Japanese visual culture. I have recently returned to Israel after a decade in the UK and the US, and I am currently working on a series of lectures/ a conference at the Van Leer Institute in Jerusalem, where I am trying to bring to Israeli academics some experiences from Asia (Japan and China mainly) that may be relevant to Israeli audiences. I have found your name on this discussion group, and I am contacting you today to find out if you may be interested in presenting the Peace Museum of Hiroshima to Israeli audience. I hope you will find interest in this conference. Dates are only preliminary, but will take place during 2011.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Kind regards,

Ayelet Zohar, PhD

One of my students is doing research on peace museums. Do you have by any chance a pdf of your publication "Creating a culture of peace at a peace museum". I will appreciate it if you can send it to me. Regards.

i have seen that site and some links of that site as well. I think the concpet of musical instrument instead of weapons is really good. i think we should expand this concept worldwide with proper implementation.

It is a nice surprise to see your comment here. I've just written to you that I presented a paper on Japanese peace pioneers who worked for peace and reconciliation at Peace History Conference held in London. It will be available at the website of Movement for the Abolition of War. But if you'd like to read it, I can send a file.
