Kashmir Entrepreneurship Consultancy (KEC) has been established to promote and develop entrepreneurship by offering support services to entrepreneurs.
KEC strives for entrepreneurship development through research, trainings, education, consultancy, exchange of information, handholding, publications, project profiles, net presence, market surveys and other related entrepreneurial support services. Besides, the Centre provides a host of other opportunities for learning and effective resource sharing to the entrepreneurs and other stakeholders which include organizing of conferences, seminars, workshops, adoption of industrial estates, buyer-seller meets, trade and technology transfer events, expert/ resource exchange programmes, trade promotions, capacity building and skill development programmes, marketing exhibitions, diagnostic studies, technical guest lectures, cluster development programmes for MSEs, etc. On the whole, KEC acts as a think tank on the issues which are directly or indirectly related to entrepreneurship development in and outside the State with a focus on Micro and Small enterprise sectors.
