What motivated you (or your organization) to become involved in peace and conflict resolution?
I am a retired Human Resources Management professional with over 30 years of experience in many multinational companies. One of my main interests throught my life has been the creation of a culture of peace and harmony. After my retirement I have dedicated my self to this objetive .
Please feel free to provide a short bio about yourself or the work of your organization (no more than 3 paragraphs)
Academic studies: B.A. in Education with a concentration in Letter, M.A. in Clinical Psychology. I am a certified trained with Mediation Training Interhnational and am certified as Countey Mediator with the Florida Supreme Court.
I have always been very interested in spirituality and have always been very mindiful of the terrile conflict and aggression situation of humanity.
I making an attempt to organize an alliance of people interested in working to achieve a culture of peace in families, schools and work places.

I was brought up in the U.S.A. and return there very often. I also lived in Italy for 11 years and other countries like Brazil, Argentina, and Spain.

I am President of Centro de mediación y Resolución de Conflictos (CEMRECO) in Santo Domingo. I am working to organize an alliance called ACCION PRO PAZ , joining people that will be certified as facilitators and will offer workshops, courses and organize peacemaker groups in school and workplaces.

Somos un grupo de dominicanos dedicados a la promoción de una cultura de paz y no-agresión en nuestro país.
En la República Dominicana abundan los episodios de violencia y abuso contra varios grupos desprotegidos entre los que se destacan los niños y las mujeres.
Proponemos que la solución del problema de la agresividad y la violencia en nuestro país es a largo plazo y hay que iniciarlo en las familias, en las escuelas a todos los niveles, y en los lugares de trabajo.
