What motivated you (or your organization) to become involved in peace and conflict resolution?

Deep concern with civilians caught in the middle of situations of genocide/mass atrocity. Have done considerable research into violence and historical memory in eastern Africa.

I coordinate the Carl Wilkens Fellowship for Genocide Intervention Network. I have a professional background in project design/management for NGOs and an academic background in development and conflict studies in West and East Africa.
