What motivated you (or your organization) to become involved in peace and conflict resolution?
To support world peace efforts in order to able human being to live with dignity and their rights.
Please feel free to provide a short bio about yourself or the work of your organization (no more than 3 paragraphs)
• Programs manager with over 12 years of experience in post conflicts contexts, vulnerable groups reintegration, communities recovery, peacekeeping operations, disarmament, demobilization and socio-economic reintegration (DDR) of ex-combatants
• Trainer of Trainers (with experience in adults, youth and level educated people training programs design, implementation and evaluation); familiar with UN IDDRS with specialty in livelihood, income generation, (small) business development/financing, vocational skills straining, (self) employment support, local labor market analysis, vocational skills training assessment for clients reintegration (ex combatants, IDPs, vulnerable children and youth).
• 8 years of excellent field experience in DDR with UN ILO and UNDPKO with expertise for children soldiers, female ex combatants, war-disabled, wounded, old ex combatants, ex combatants dependants orphans and widows; including monitoring and evaluation as well as projects technical auditing approaches. Strong managerial, diplomatic and negotiation as well as operational and programmatic skills; experience in dealing with sensitive issues at middle and operational levels with Government and international organizations in projects daily management with minimum supervision. Excellent reporting skills.
