Dr. Scott holds a doctorate in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from Nova Southeastern University, a Master of Arts in Speech Communication from Montclair State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts from Florida Atlantic University. She is currently under contract with Praeger ABC-CLIO Publishing to author and edit: Crimes against Humanity in the Land of the Free: How a Truth and Reconciliation Process Can Heal Racial Conflict in America

She is the recipient of numerous awards and honors and has a distinguished record of scholarly publications and presentations
