What motivated you (or your organization) to become involved in peace and conflict resolution?
I see it is a very nice networking site to share and exchange ideas with others about the Peace and Conflict Management around the world

OBJECTIVES

To Promote Peace Education to the children and youth through Dialogues and Seminars so as to have a sustainable peace in Great lake zone
To build the concept of peace to the current Leaders (Youth) and tomorrow Leaders (Children) so we can have the Peaceful Region
Vision

GYOPEN envisions all young people in the zone should grow in a peaceful, safe, and enabling environment, where their rights are protected and their voices are heard and considered in all forums of the society.
Mission

GYOPEN Mission is to deliver the Education for peace to the young people of Great Lakes Zone

Dear Frank - Thank you for your message. At the present time I am sorting out which countries I am going to. My time is too short (mid - May to mid-June). It may just be Ethiopia and Kenya, so if you have good connections there, that would be very helpful. Tanzania is a possibility. Let me know more about what you are doing. I am doing dialogue and reconciliation work with refugees from the Great Lakes region here in the US and would very much like to intersect with local leaders, scholars and practitioners in this area.
