I serve on the Board of Mediators Beyond Borders, an all-volunteer organization fostering sustainable and locally driven peacebuilding projects. I co-lead The Liberian Initiative, conceived of as a 10-yr project contributing to the rebuilding of Liberia.

The initial arm of the project provide a holistic approach to rehabilitating and reintegrating former child soldiers, supporting their economic self-sufficiency and mental health, as well as the often-neglected community acceptance work. We are developing the next phase, which envisions trauma healing and reconciliation as both a long-term process and an integrated whole.
