Profile Information

What motivated you (or your organization) to become involved in peace and conflict resolution?
Africa is no longer a Dirk Continent. It is time for a new face for the continent to have natives with capacity to perceive challenges as local i.e. African solutions for African problems. Time is way over due to concentrate on dealing with issues that precipitate destructive conflict and violence that has kept millions of the continent’s citizens in absolute misery. Indeed a continent where natives of all generations have a network that can be a foundation for the continent's transformation.

I am perusing a Post Graduate Diploma in human Resource Management and holding a Bachelors’ Degree in social Work and Social administration form the Islamic University in Uganda. He is a graduate of social work and social administration. I am proud to have an experience in global issues especially particularly MDGs and peace. In this line, I am a founder of a United Nations Association of Uganda Branch at my university where I had my bachelors Degree (2004/5-2006/7).
I have done training and disseminated information on MDGs, represented my university and Country in the Regional Model United Nations conferences that assimilated the United Nations Assembly, had internship and research in domestic violence, volunteered with the Uganda Joint Christian Council where I had an experience in inter-religious cooperation, and now involved in inter-faith working for peace, human rights and development with particular emphasis on youth involvement at the Inter-Faith action for Peace in Africa (IFAPA) Youth Desk.
