Profile Information

What motivated you (or your organization) to become involved in peace and conflict resolution?
The realisation that it is not enough to be against violence and injustice but it is important to be for something and become active in finding ways to resolution. Wish to use my experience and training in the Northern Irish/Irish conflict in any conflict arena, especially Israel/Palestine, the Balkans and Sri Lanka.
Please feel free to provide a short bio about yourself or the work of your organization (no more than 3 paragraphs)
I have been a peace campaigner and founding member of an anti paramilitary violence in Ireland in 1993 ( Peace '93) and went on to become the Programme Director of Glencree Reconciliation Centre in Dublin where I was actively involved in the design and management and delivery of a wide range of programmes which included politicans, womens groups, youth groups and initiated a victims programme. I hold an MPhil in Peace & Conflict studies from Trinity College Dublin.
