Dear Dr. Eselebor, thanks for  reply. I attend seminars/courses on human trafficking (Italy and Nigeria) and do research for  deeper understanding of lies behind. In 1998 our government introduced"Article 18", a useful but controverse article related to a permit for social protection. This article can be applied for victims of prostitution, exploited minors or workforce. The circumstances under which it can be applied: violence and serious dangers for security. Due to political change many police departments don't consider its application  or bind it to the condition that victims denunciate their exploiters. so, the victims are integrated into a social rehab programme in a protected location. Many girls and women are too scared to talk about their situation because they fear for of their family in Nigeria.In most Italian regions we try to help them bring relief, provide necessary medical infos and legal advice  this is a local step but it would be more efficient a direct participatory collaboration reciprocal exchange of knowledge and information:1. understand the phenomenon in its complexity (culture-related rituals like woodoo, involvment of the family in trafficking, reasons for leaving, etc)2. find out the reasons for leaving their home countries3. start information campaigns in cities/ villages,raise the awareness of what it means coming to Europe in general4. creating opportunities for these women in Nigeria5: partnership between involved countries.I think collaborating and exchanging is the only possibility to understand this phenomenon My interest lies in starting to do networking and information exchange to find suitable solutions to the problem because with the actual approach we solve  local problems and not global. So I would really appreciate to interact with you on this topic because you have much more experience than I have and you know your country and that makes the difference. I would appreciate to hear from you.
