Eric Ruppel is a professional with several years’ leadership experience at organizations of varying sizes and types. He completed his Master’s degree in December 2011, during which he concentrated his course of study on economic development initiatives in Sub-Saharan Africa. He has first-hand experience in project development and management, advocacy and awareness campaigns, data and research, human resources, and especially microfinance (savings, credit, and insurance). Having lived and worked in Germany, Slovakia, and Rwanda and learned the local language in each country, Eric is culturally sensitive and engages in long-term cross-cultural relationship building. He continues to learn cutting-edge economic development theory and hopes to gain a high proficiency in the French language in the near future.
