What motivated you (or your organization) to become involved in peace and conflict resolution?
My career has included 15 years in the military partly nunder conflict conditions; then 11years in the UN in the Angolan civil war and 30 years in the Continent of Africa working in many nations where conflict, corruption and social injustice prevailed.

My career includes 15 years in the military, 10 years in the Oil industry during the 1970s decade; 18 years in Angola which included 11 years in the UN. I am now in the reconstruction/ reahbilitation industry in Angola

I have lived or worked in all the Francophone; Anglophone, Lusophone nations as well as the Sahel inAfrica.

I am presently head of HR with an American Company who will build a new refinery in Angola

Reintegration initiatives for ex-combatent youth

I have written papers on the reintegration of ex-combatant youth and on Moniting and evaluation(the real value of the "desk").
