I am Professor Emerita (Education and Human Services) from University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, where I taught Human Services and a graduate course in Global Education. In 2007, I was a Nonviolent Peaceforce peacekeeper in Guatemala during the violent elections there. We protected human rights defenders who were investigating crimes agains human rights defenders. Presently I am Senior Adviser to NP and am co-chair of the NP USA Fund Raising Board
