My degree is in clinical psychology. I have interests in political psychology, the dynamics of nuclear proliferation, the psychology of enmity, conflict analysis and transformation, terrorism, the role of trauma, envy, fear, humiliation and radicalization, apology and truth and reconciliation processes, and climate change.

I am affiliated with Psychologists for Social Responsibility, Institute for Conflict Analysis and Resolution at GMU, Mediators Beyond Borders (went to Copenhagen with them), and I am on the Global Council of Abolition 2000, now collaborating on preparations to present at the 2010 UN Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty Review Conference.

I moved to Washington DC to start a policy institute grounded in social science designing polices to reduce tensions, prevent violence, transform conflict.
